We are experiencing problems with our Waeco fridge/freezer. I have been searching for troubleshooting and a contact for Waeco, but have been unable to find anything.
It's a 40 l coolbox/freezer which works on 12v and 24v. It is about 5 years old and is properly installed on our boat with sufficient ventilation etc. Usually it is on all the time at around -16 to -18. This year it was empty and switched off for 4 months, until the beginning of this month. It is full with bags of ice and frozen food, and is set to go to -18, but it doesn't seem to want to go below -3/-4. The lights seem to be functioning as normal and the unit is quiet; it doesn't appear to be working extra hard or overheating, it's been on for over 2 weeks.
Any thoughts?
