If it is not possible for us to supply a certain item, we shall immediately inform you that it is not available and refund any payments you have already made. At the same time we shall offer you an equivalent item of the same quality and price (substitute item) without obligation.
According to Consumerline FAQs they have 30 days to either supply us all with dinghies or refund our money now unless you agree to another arrangement.
But how about that T&C item binding themselves to the advertised prices? AFAIC if they tell me they are 'out of stock' I'm quite happy to wait till they get some more.....
If it is not possible for us to supply a certain item, we shall immediately inform you that it is not available and refund any payments you have already made. At the same time we shall offer you an equivalent item of the same quality and price (substitute item) without obligation. If you then inform us that you do not want the substitute item we are entitled to cancel the order.
Items in the range are only to be sold to end consumers in normal household quantities.
The above seems to state that even if the product is discontinued they will offer us an alternative product of the same quality at the same price, although my order has been in for 2 hours and they have not informed me that it is not available, they will only cancel the order if we do not accept the substitute. Seems to me that either way we should end up with a rigid tender of any make or type but of equivelant quality to the one advertised for a total price of £13.03
Well, just had my order confirmed by email. Just off down to the pub with a print off of the Compass page to alert the early evening yottie crowd to this great deal. I'm sure there will be some more orders tonight.... /forums/images/graemlins/laugh.gif
My son's ordered one and he's a solicitor. Says that if it doesn't turn up he'll send the lawyers in.
I wonder who will get the employee of the week award - not the website manager that's for sure /forums/images/graemlins/grin.gif /forums/images/graemlins/grin.gif /forums/images/graemlins/grin.gif /forums/images/graemlins/grin.gif
