very cheap tender

If you follow the link in the thread it still is. If you go to www.compass24.co.uk and try to search for it on the website, it isn't there. If you search by item number and put in 995671 or 995672 it just comes back with "item not listed in database". It might be worth trying to order it using the link in the thread but I don't think that you will ultimately be successful.

Yup, still works. less than £30 (€42) for a tender, delivered? If not, never mind.

Thanks for the chance, people! /forums/images/graemlins/smirk.gif /forums/images/graemlins/wink.gif

Not sure... legally they're in a difficult position....

I'm more interested as an observer in whether they react negatively or positively... ie see it as a learning experience, or see us as a bunch of trouble makers..... tells you a lot about a company.....

News articles suggest that they can get out of it with cleverly worded T's and C's, like argos and their 49p TV's, but otherwise it looks very much like they were put together quickly and didn;t account for this - other companies have had to fulfil orders e.g. Tesco when this has happened to them... Could go either way really...

It's quite tempting to order one.........but I have a suspicion that the the market could be flooded with lots of "as new" examples!! /forums/images/graemlins/grin.gif
