I can see a new thread next week about generator woes and that the boat has to be lifted out of the water for the mechanic to complete .......

I may have missed the boat now, but here's the photos I said I'd post of the Trudesign components. The tricky bit with the support collar is cutting down the thread on teh skin fitting so that the valve screws down far enough such that the colar bears against the hull surface to provide the extra rigidity.

I haven’t got the collar..I’m going to install it next time the boat is out the water…the fitting is in part of the lazaret that no one would go near so I am sure the fitting is safe.
It looks like you are doing the engine water intake…that one I will leave to last as it’s the biggest job…my plan is next year to change the shower outlet and toilet inlet…I might have to get creative because they are in a tight position under the bathroom.

Where are the pics of the back side of the geny for us to feast on

Well bouba, I would suggest that as others have suggested, that you make certain that your generator is not slowly rotting away into a puddle of rust. Secondly, I would say you do reap what you sow.
