True to life..... Why is it that the female of the species takes so long to quit ANY social situation? And why is it that when I feel like it's a good idea to stay for another single malt SWMBO glares at me and disappears into the darkness and we wind up having 'words'? No, I know that there is no answer, just saying!

Ah! You appear to have spotted the flaw in my argument. In my defence I would argue poetic licence and the fact that Mr. Yottie exhibits a natural reticence to urinate al fresco when there is a strong possibility of the sudden appearance of a pack of yotesses.

Mrs. Yottie can be expected to express opprobrium at being embarrassed by such an unseemly display in front of her friends whilst the rest of the pack are likely to subject Mr. Yottie to a chorus of ribald comments and unsympathetic anatomical comparisons.

Yes, but I see that you are in France, where they don't have form, they have politesse.

And the French have the amazing talent of making exquisite politeness and good manners appear deeply insulting and humiliating - how do they manage that?

And while I'm on the deep mysteries of life, how to I get italics or bold on these fora?
