Lovely video, boat and coastline.
You might consider moving the courtesy flag to stbd, though... ;)

Rats... I spent a good 20 mins precariously hanging over the radar to get that flag on there with an assortment of cable ties... bah, I'll get the wire cutters out and go back up there! :)

I have a Pred 62 which has the old school style dash - works really well and everything is within easy reach. That 64 dash does look good for boat shows etc but in practice im not sure, plotters / radar look a long stretch plus as you say the visibility may be restricted.

Not a great pic, but:

Nice but the 62 helm seat location is really poor try squeezing in front of the seats not fantastic, 64 a little better but still not fantastic with the painted surfaces so close then scratches abound that coupled with a door arrangement that would not latch and a limited aft area, better layout was the 60 manhattan 2007 with upper seating area. However the latest predator has nice layout but with it being an open layout not fantastic for the med evenings.
64 sports fly a compromise however not great looking better styling when you get to the 70ft region not so stumpy. 84 well thats just sweet with a nice dash layout. Better boats are about for the money but its personal choice.

So what boat have you got then? Must be something pretty special if you're happy coming on here and telling Pred 62 and 64 owners how badly designed their boats are ...

To be fair, each to their own.

I used to have a 'Lema Gold' - Was constantly told how ugly of a boat it was, but I didn't care. It served it's purpose (capable of doing a weekend on it) and at 21 I was well chuffed with myself (she was diesel, too), I didn't care what others thought of the boat, it was me at the helm and sleeping aboard, not them

Hello Jimmy

Nice comment however Im sure that my opinion is echoed by many that have experience with the models perhaps talk to an experienced broker or look for yourself.
Lets just say I am more than qualified to comment on this particular brand of vessel. To belittle a reasonable comment into mine is bigger than yours shows a slight lack of knowledge and in order not to embarrass you any further I think better for us both to respect each others views.

I'm not in the slightest bit embarrassed, I just thought (and still think) your previous comment was quite rude in the context of this specific thread.

Cheers

Great video

I recognise the engines
CR2000s - M93s or M94s
I know them intimately.

We will be over to Mallorca for the first 3 weeks in September.
Maybe longer if I can find a good safe berth for the last week in September and the first week in October.

At the moment, weather permitting, we will leave mainland Spain on the 4th or 5th Sept and I am hoping to spend most of the time on the hook.

Lots of friends coming over from Sant Carles – both from the yachty and stinky side – we bear no grudges at SC.

Maybe we will see you around.
