Well looking around the marina I have spotted these and would do the job , but I don’t want to screw them on , so I think I can get without holes but what would be the best glue to use . Thanks for replies , even the daft ones.

So the problem is that you a rubbing strake that doesn’t need screwing in...an adhesive backed one...because I have used these..

But they don’t last forever but curve over shapes nicely

You can also get clear ones. I use them to stop the tender marking the transom if I have it up on davits.

Your docking skills requires more than tu'penny rubbing strips mate. Try fenders.
