I've tried to find one of these on line for my bow roller, but no luck, anybody got any ideas. The bolt goes through both, so I could drill new holes so the bolts just do one side.
Yes, I reckon they would do one side, but I trying to avoid drilling new holes if possible.When you say that you could drill both sides, does that mean two shorter 8 x 70mm would do the trick? If so are these any use? (2 x 8mm x 70mm)

Or thread one end for a nyloc nut and drill the other end for an 'R' clipWhat about a length of 8mm rod drilled at each end to take an "R" clip?
Nice bit of work, I'm going up tomorrow so will have another look at it.This is my bow fitting with the drop nose pin I made.
I also made a second bigger drop nose pin to retain my anchor
I used 12 mm dis 316 bar welding a head and cutting a slop to fit the drop nose catch
I used a mag drill to drill the extra holes for the anchor
