So, now I have the boat ready to go for another season, but stuck in the yard unable to launch (was due in Monday:sick:). I have explained to her that it is such a good and clever thing that I have allowed the house to become neglected while concentrating efforts on the boat for the last few years . There are now so many jobs about the house to be done, tidying, sorting and clearing out, that we will not have time to become bored even with months of isolation. Of course, there is a downside that we might have to create a temporary tip in a corner of the garden, but overall am so glad I have had my priorities proved right!

A bit similar here.
Have been failing to do jobs on the house for the past 2 months due to a racing dinghy in the garage blocking access to tools, workbench, stored materials etc.
Sun's come out, dinghy is sorted and now decorates the drive while I contemplate a backlog of house jobs.

We have just moved so loads to do but the difficulty is getting materials. Boat is almost ready, just need to get the glycol out of the raw water system and apply second coat of antifoul to prop and leg. Need to service the engine and leg but best done in water I think. When that will be I have nonidea?
