Someone has to ask - SBS tickets

I had an email from yachtmarket.com the other day, buy one ticket for £15 and get another half price.

If you've not signed-up, it might be worth it for that alone. I have no connection to yachtmarket, other than I enjoy reading the odd email they send in between consulatations.

Oh, for the good old days of 'el cheapo' tickets and a freebie cold beer in the YBW corrall, courtesy of Sheadie! He knew his stuff - milady could always be prevailed on to renew her several gift subscriptions to relatives....

All gone, now. 'Lost in time, like tears in rain'...'

Hope this doesn’t sound like a stupid question but I’m planning on attending the Southampton show this year and I believe the used boat show is on at the same time. Are the two shows close by?

I’m sorry but I don’t know Southampton at all as I’ve never been, from what I’ve read they appear to be at different marinas or is this not the case and they are actually in the same location/walking distance?

Different marinas and not walkable. If you go to the used show at Swanwick there are coach transfers to SBS not sure if there is a charge or not

If you can do both shows in a day you a a lot fitter than me or do shows in a very different way.

I have a list of companies I must see, a list of companies that will try and see the rest of my time I'll be looking at boat porn. How do you spend your time?

Approach the boss of a company exhibiting: he/she will probably get piles of freebie tickets to give away.

Well, its how I get my freebie tickets, anyway...

They do get tickets to give away, but they have to pay for each one used. Not saying they won't give you one, but they are usually reserved for valued customers or potential customers.
