Has anybody successfully connected a Simrad AI50 to Raymarine Axiom MFD via NMEA 2000?

No, but i see no reason why it shouldn't work. Why do you ask, having problems doing so ?

I didn't see any reason why not either. The Simnet to Seatalk ng interconnection is fully supported and the Simrad AI50 is collecting and displaying all the AIS contacts on its screen. It is also transmitting those contacts via its NMEA 0183 interface. However, the NMEA 2000 interface to the Axiom doesn't appear to be consistent. The Axiom is displaying some of the contacts, both Class A and Class B but many are missing and they appear and disappear randomly. I have been through several rounds of attempted fixes from Raymarine Support but without any progress in spite of providing them with diagnostic recordings of NMEA 2000 data. Before I buy my own diagnostic equipment I thought I would find out if it is a systematic problem.
