Oh my God. What have I done. Jimi, when you asked what to do with your Knackered old dinghy and I suggested that you gave it to B.Liar, I was only joking. Honest!

How about casting him off in the general direction of a high speed ferry! That would be better.

All this Blairknocking is all very well . . .

But I haven't heard any suggestions as to who would be a suitable replacement. Surely not the Transylvanian vampire or Paddy Pantsdown (as the tabloids once dubbed him).

We seem to have a shortage of statesmen and/or politicians of stature on the horizon, which is why our Tone will get back in in spite of the enormous influence of the Yachting lobby . . .

Hate to spoil a good argument with facts, but Paddy Pantsdown left the scene some time ago.

There is, I believe, a fresh faced young young replacement - but I forget his name.

Paddy Pantsdown has been running Bosnia for the UN these last few years. Was replaced by Champagne Charlie. Guess you haven't been following the news.

Anyway, why do we need "statesmen" and "leaders". Are we so stupid and desperate to be led? What all these inflated egos in Westminster should realise is that THEY WORK FOR US! Not the other way round!

Another pet peeve - of all the moaners here - how many of you actually voted last time round? Having a go at politicians is easy, but how many can be bothered to go out and vote?
So next time round: go vote! And make Phoney B. Liar and the others face one fact: The vother giveth & the voter taketh away.
Here endeth the lesson!

Getting of high horse now.

Hate them or love them at least our country is free enough that we can confidently take the pi$$ out of our politicians.

I think I know what the coffee smells like.

Your post confirms what I said that we are free enough to criticize our government without fear of persecution.
