This post is a test to see whether on_line censoring exists. S_c_u_n_t_h_o_r_p_e is a real place. If software censoring exists that the title will be modified. If it is modified than it means that I can't post S_c_u_n_t_h_o_r_p_e without having to resort workaround means.

Apart form the spelling mistakes where 'that' should be 'then' and 'than' should be 'then' It seems to be that anyone can post 'Scunthorpe.'

Lets revert to the ulitmate hard water test and see what happens when the temperature of dissolved sodium bicarbonate in water rises above 160C: 'Scum' and then lets test what happens when the wind pipes up at 20 knots out of the plughole to send our model Peter Duck's whizzing around the bath ... '[censored]'

Okay Nigel I\'ll bite

Scunthorpe an industrial town in NE England, in Humberside; pop. (1991) 60,500. The town grew rapidly in the late 19th century as a centre of the iron and steel industries.
why would anybody want to censor Scunthorpe? Or even S_c_u_n_t_h_o_r_p_e?

So I can post 4 letters within any word including **** [uncensored] as long as I don't post an inclusion such as 'scum' + 'sail' and do joined up writing and link them together.

It is also noted that under ther 'Terms & Conditions' that this post as posted immediately becomes copyright of IPC - ergo, I can say what I want about anything and any company ... abd the moon's a baloon because IPC's willing to pick up the tab.

IMHO, 'S_C_U_M_S_A_I_L' appears to be a proper word derived from other peoples experiences. I'm recommending '[censored]' to the Edtors of the OED for their next edition as a word worthy of its meaning.

I tested this fairly thoroughly about a year ago - search for scunthorpe on all forums, all dates.

Bum, bugger, porn, incest, like a horse, "but she wouldn't bark" can all the used, but only where appropriate, I supose.

However, they USED to be trapped on line - and we found it with the very same word of that east coast town

Birgitta's owner gets his head into a twist whenever there is something that appears trivial when it's not. He's now got his head not just into scuppering the whole of the RYA navigation theory Yachmasters Offshore Examination by openly declaring that their navigation theory is up the Swaneeeeeee ... by also declaring that whatever the RYA Appointees say that you can only sail to the apparent wind. He's posted this on several boards and they say that he's a wanker.

Symbol, can you sail above the wind that comes over your windex when you're sailing? Is that the true wind, the apparent wind, the relative wind, or the wind how you see it and sail too?

The moon's a balloon. IMHO we can only point to the real wind as we see it ... and that's the windex real indexing wind too .

The hardwater 'word' with plusor minus additions is going to be included as an OED 'new' new-word-set word for the OED 2003 edition. Though it's meaning may be de-demeaning its meaning becomes what it is through common parlance
