Sadler 32, deep or shallow

Is there much difference between these two in terms of stability or windward sailing? (Not the bilge keel version)

Mike Lucus has an informative article on Sadler keel choice. Go to http://www.mikelucasyachting.co.uk/, select the Articles button and you will see one called 'Mike Lucas on Keel Choice' near the bottom of the list. I've just bought a deep fin 32 and am delighted with it.

I had a shallow fin 32 for several years (1.35m). Sailed great to windward but weren't racing.
