Princess 415 Diodes.

Right all you Princess owners, here's one I need some help with, the two electric battery cut off switches have a diode somewhere in the system, the domestic batteries are charged from both engines, both alternators linked together to a diode then wired to domestic battery cut off relay/ switch, what happens is that the two are not separate because of this faulty diode, question is where is it located on the boat, help please ASAP.

It may be totally different but on our P45 they are in the compartment underneath the instrument panel. this is where the batteries live astern of the cabin 2 beds. Obviously I don't know if a 415 has the same layout or not but are you not able to follow it from the engine side of the solenoids?

Diodes Sorted.

Thanks to some German many moons ago, this boat has truck alternators fitted with single diode packs, problem sorted now but at a price.
