Can someone explain the difference between these two boats, they seem to have been made at the same time and appear to be the same length unless I am missing the obvious. Any views on which was the better boat plus they have various engine choices but I would favour either the cats or tamd63s .Again I would much appreciate any advise on which were better on reliability, power, economy, etc. Have read previous posts on the 360 which sound encouraging and quite good value .I think I am suffering from 'budget creep' if there is such an expression but I am sure to most people on this forum it needs no explanation !! Thanks for any help provided-Tim

P 380, an earlier boat with two heads and showers, slightly longer than the 360, was a revamped 368.

P 360 was a new model actually 40ft but with only one head and shower, more modern hull with slight angle on chine to give more lift, also the intro to cherry wood. The p380 had the sickly maple wood and prior to that a beech style wood interior. All very good fit out in my view, nearly bought one of each myself but settles on the slightly earlier 410 which was I a different league space wise inside for virtually the same length as the 360.

63p a good motor, beware of the old 3116/3126 cats as they had a cylinder block issue recall and are prone to exhaust valve failures.

[thanks Paul, was the issue with either of the cat engines something that may have been rectified on these boats already or was it a recurring fault ? When I do find a boat you will be the first to know ie engine survey !!! being cheeky I know but would these faults be something that could be picked up in an engine survey or is it 'all or nothing'?- thanks again fireball advise.QUOTE=volvopaul;4677325]P 380, an earlier boat with two heads and showers, slightly longer than the 360, was a revamped 368.
