The valve on one of my F3 fenders is leaking air. I have tried to locate a replacement part but without success. Is it possible to replace these valves or is the fender dead?

I have an Ocean Ball buoy - cannot get the inner valve insert for ... my advice ? Don't waste money on such - Ocean haven't even bothered to reply to emails etc.

Considering filling with foam .... but I know another guy who filled fenders with foam and they weren't much good !! No 'give' to the form when pressed etc.

So far this season I haave got away with PTFE tape around the screw in stopper above the valve, to my surprise it has held up since March, perhaps getting a bit softer now.

I have some blue top fenders ... the blue tops form 3 layers for the eye ... I found that the fender had aged and cracked deep inside the layers .... I could prise the layers apart and see the white fender cracked.

Recently I bought some liquid PVC to repair some scrapes on the soviet dinghy I have ... amazing stuff ... liquid out of tube ... sets in minutes ... cured in a few hours ..

I prised the layers apart .. lollipop stick to push the liquid PVC down into the cracks .. next day - I stood on the fenders - jumped up and down on them ... it held !!

I'm trying to figure out how to use it to pump up and seal that stupid design Ocean Ball ...

Most of the chandlers in UK stock the valve. The part is seems to be called the valve screw. To inflate you use an adaptor which is also widely available. Force 4 do them. Instructions for inflating can be found on the web. I am not sure how it works but if you get in touch with with on of the major stockists of the fender they will tell you how to do it and will have all the valves and Adaptors.
