No not really.

What happens is contributors either leave the forums altogether, or
make certain contributors invisible who cause offence . Having to putt stops on contributors sets a negative vibe where interest in the forums tends to wane.

Most people recognise that we are all unique individuals with varying education, upbringing , life experiences etc and therefore have different
outlooks.

Perhaps you need a different kind of forum that meets your requirements better.
I dont believe any contributor has left because of me. Some have said I spoke a bit unwisely or was wrong, and I have apologised. I speak no differently here than down the club or at work. If I believe someones lack education or information I might go easy on them and not challenge a clear wrongness.

Life is politics. Boating an obsession. These forums suit me fine

a) Busier than normal

b) I can see rafting being stopped thus capacity will take a hit.

c) Not sure.

d) West country or CIs

e) I think it's a low risk but listen to the news and be flexible with plans.

On (b) Bembridge are going to permit limited rafting which presumably is not going to be the usual 7 deep

No update on Yarmouth yet.

You are attempting to make a political point, I am commenting on you and others as individuals on the evidence that you have presented here . BTW you seem to have rather misjudged my politics but that is not particularly surprising, qv my earlier comments on your metal acuity.
So still at it with the insults then. You really are quite the hypocrite. If you take the time to read the posts in order, you'll see I was responding to someone being 'political' already, so not even guilty of what you're accusing me of.
But I won't argue with stupid. I don't have the experience.

I think the language I used was kindly for a proven liar who had been sacked twice for such behavior, known adulterer and reportedly a very very lazy ex mayor. Perhaps your standards are lower than mine and you accept transgressive nincompoopish behaviour in a country's leader .

If so quite frankly you are more than a bit dim
Para4.3 - 4.4 suit?

Probably the OP put the post in the wrong forum. But as the PM decision is political and highly controversial then it is reasonable to respond politically.

Can you advise what part of the OPs question was political?

Seemed quite a straight forward boating question in the correct forum until you turned it into a rant.

Our lot is saying "Waiting on the Habour Authorities" to confirm. Not sure what that has to do with hard standing in a boat yard ... I just get the feeling that they're happy not to be doing any work.

Not sure I share your optimism that Portland will have spaces if the 'refugees' from Weymouth go there instead
