Hello All,
Long time since I've been around here.
I am rebuilding the galley on my catamaran. I've been donated an old Plastimo Neptune and am looking to refurbish and install it. Any tips or info appreciated.
I don't need to fit it in gimballs (if my cat is heeling at 30deg then I'm not cooking). Do I need to leave an air gap so as not to set fire to the boat or is it well enough insulated to mount it against the ply.
I could heat it up and feel the sides but I need to start the galley build and the cooker isn't in a fit state to light at the moment.
Thanks in advance
Paul
