Do a range of tanks which appear to be identical to the off-the-shelf Tek-Tanks range. I've just bought a 90 litre Plastimo fuel tank, ordered through my chandler at under 2/3 the Tek-Tank price.

The originator of the thread .... wants a custom design to fit his locker ..... doubt if Plastimo will do that !! But point is well made that you can get them at good prices.

I have just had a quote for a 10 gallon s/s diesel tank, which is rectangular in shape. The difference in price between stainless and mild steel was £30, £120 complete. This was not from a marine fabricator just the local one. Hasn't got any baffles though but then the old one hasn't either and that has been OK.
