Yeah, but you should see the jellyfish and sea urchins in that part of the world.
It's a dangerous ocean out there.
Don't forget the Kraken. It was born from the titans Oceanus and Ceto, both entities of the sea. Its tentacles are large enough to be able to pull entire ships under the water and destroy cities with relative ease.

So tell us then, what, in your opinion, is the qualifying time to be considered to have a voice on this forum?

I just finished over 22 years of living aboard. How do ya like them apples? ??

Well Capn, you have topped us, as we have only been living on the boat continuously since 23 Oct 2019 but probably there is another dreamt-up criteria that invalidates our claim to be liveaboards. Possibly living on the radar in our adopted host country❓

But back to thread.?

Orcas - another use for those out-of-date flares.?

Standby for incoming - in more than one sense.?

Edited to correct typos and add detail✅

As you know so much about my ‘movements’, ? please forward a copy of my most recent voyages.?

When I stopped keeping a personal logbook, I had amassed well over 30,000 sea miles, much of it in real oceans - rather than inland seas - the med. What is your tally❓

ps Don’t shit in harbours do you❓

Too deep for me?❓

Still awaiting your answer to, Your tally❓Distance, cruising areas❓

No need to be shy.
Not shy, Conwy to Greece 1996 probably 3000miles plus every year since.
Well documented on the earlier forum 1998.
Also everything about Greece from 1998.
Turkey 2004 for Greek Olympics.
2018 Monfalcone to Athens taking in Slovenia, Croasia, Montenegro, Albania.
Last, year Marina de Carrara. West coast Italy to Athens via Sicily.
Did you change your pontoon bearth in this time ??

‘Probably’ about 75,000 nm over 15 years impressive. You did well to get so much sailing in last year during lock down.✅

My berths❓

As you ask, I have 2 boats one in Northern Europe the other in Iberia so summer cruising in those long daylight hours but winter sailing in warmer seas - best of both worlds.

Berths - various but often put boat ashore when not in use. Two boats both in the water at the same time thousands of miles apart - not for the faint hearted. But fortunately I have many good friends who keep an eye on things when I am absent.

I have encountered whales in the English Channel - awesome and thought provoking. Their young proved inquisitive but friendly - no boat bumping.

Fortunately have yet to meet an orca and rather hope keep it this way.

Racing today so got to dash - toodle-pip or from your earlier observation possibly that should be toddle-loo?
