Can't abide them. Why ruin a perfectly good seat which somebody has spent months designing by desecrating it with scatter cushions? SWMBO tries to sneak them onto our boat occasionally but they soon disappear

A seat without scatter cushions isn't a perfectly good seat. And its designer, if world class, intended it to be finished off with scatter cushions

You've got to ask your self the question "are scantily clad young ladies more likely to drape themselves all over a boat with smart scatter cushions or one with just functional seating?" Scatter cushions are a defo supplement towards higher OB rating.

Do you need a world class bum to sit in a world class seat? I'm not sure I qualify. Scatter cushions are vermin and need to be exterminated

Excellent post and pix. Very interesting to see Essex at work too that'ssome facility they have there it seems.

Look forward to seeing more on this project as time moves on. Be interesting how you like Lymington as a base iso Sussex. I'm a huge fan of the place as has sooo much to offer as a visitor, for now the Fri / Sun drive would kill me

Small exhaust on transom. Main exhaust is underwater. This small one works on tick over and the large exhaust kicks in with increased speed
