My NASA log padle wheel is in a sorry state. can it be replaced or do I have to replace the entire unit. Do NASA have a customer service number? The problem seems to be that the metal bar in the wheel has practically rusted away. Could I replace it once the remnants of the old one had been drilled out? What type of metal to replace it with? I suspect that the whole unit is relativley old. Is this likely to be a problem or are all their paddlewheels the same? Any suggestions welcomed.

You can get a new paddlewheel unit from Allgadgets for the princely sum of £6.00 inc. VAT, and it will be delivered within a couple of days - a superb company to deal with.

It would be interesting to know how many owners are having problems with their their NASA log paddle wheels. I replaced mine this season after about 12 months use; the paddle wheel just disintegrated. I obtained the new paddle wheel and axle direct from NASA for a few pounds, the service was very quick.
