Mooring waiting list - corruption?

Intersting, I have been on the waiting list for 4 years with a boat under 30' and are still waiting. I checked this year that I was still on the list just to make sure.

I have heard that some local people put their name down for their friends that leave outside the area - in fact one guy boasted about it to me. I wish I could remember the name of his boat.

I wonder if the Harbour Master would like to comment on this?

And you are prepared to take one of the half tide moorings beyond the wave screen? That's where the guy I'd heard of recently got one.
