AndieMac, I promised you photos of the legs on the mobo behind Ameera, here y'go.

Note these are extending legs fitted thru-hull. Probably ally.

Chap on the boat (Westerly Jouster) next to me in our boat club yard last winter had exactly the same legs, with the same fitting - makes me think they must be a standard part....??

Yup. Those are Yacht Leg Company legs. I have 'em on my boat too. Very neat, rather expensive.

Thanks Neddie for making the time to take and post the pictures, an interesting arrangement.
I assume from the last pic., the black marks on the topsides are from where the legs pivot/swing forwards 90 deg. and tie off on the mid-ship cleat, when she is underway?
