Its taking time to get used to trimming as I alter throttle ... she does not have auto-trim ..... but at least its push button ....
First few runs I would make errors and she would veer off banking heavily ... so I never got her past about 18kts ... but now after a number of runs and forcing myself to be gentle with the buttons ... I'm finally able to keep her stable at over 23kts ... throttle is getting close to full .. expect to top out at about 25kts.
The engine purrs .. it really is a sweet steady drone sound ... not interfering with conversation ..
I was never a MOBO person ... grew up with sail. But this boat really puts a smile on my face !
The question next is whether to test her outside in the Baltic Sea ... how will she handle waves etc ... I can imagine that it will need to pick carefully good weather days !!

I'm surprised that I the potential top speed is not higher ... given that boat has had engine swap from 130hp to 170hp ... but I suppose if they didn't swap the outdrive leg - then maybe that is the limiting factor ?
