I received a phone call from mercury this morning to say that my boat had been hit last nite by another boat that was manouvering onto pontoon and that the bowrail stanchion was bent, however the skipper of the wayward craft had been up to the office supplied all details and instructed mercury staff to source engineers to carry out survey on my boat with the view to immeadiate repairs if the cost was not to high,anyway the reason for this post is just to say that the honest actions of this boat owner prove there are still officers and gentleman among the boat owning fraternity who will not shy away from responsibility which unfortumately is a rarity is this dog eat dog world that we live in.

I'm at Mercury, so glad to know that I'm amongst an honest bunch - Got hit at Moody's a few years ago and noone said a word! By the way, I'm on D6 - where are you?

On C53 When youre next down there you will recognize the boat by the kingsize double mattress hanging off the bow.
