As a McMurdo EPIRB user, I will be looking for some response from them to this scary report

A very interesting report. I expect to see a review of EPIRBS with GPS soon in all the sailing mags. McMurdo will soon feel the effect of the fallout.
Whilst I have an EPIRB I don't have one with GPS so I am not too worried by the report.

No recourse in England

The test were done in the USA and McMurdo epirbs buyers sold by west marine will get refunds, but those tests don't mean a fig in this country so don't hold your breath thinking you can get your money back.

Hmm, I wonder if McMurdo will contact existing owners of FastFindPlus if their own tests find them wanting . . . dream on!
