Jaguar 22 Lift Keel

Have just aquired this craft and wish to examine the swing keel bearing, does anyone have experience of this or know if spares are available. Any general info on this boat much appreciated.

Tony, This subject arose a few weeks ago. These yachts were made or imported by Jaquar yachts on Canvey island in Essex and I believe they are still there. The original pivot pins were replaced by stainless steel and should be still available, The pin is held in trunnions which are accessable from under the boat by removing four studs or nuts ,making sure the centre plate is supported on a suitable jack , and the plate can then be lowered away.
