They don't even want foreign boats in their inshore waters in case we infect their lifeboat crews (told to me by Howth and Dunlaoghaire marinas when I enquired recently)
I guess that besides lifeboat crew, there are only so many Coastguard aircrew that must operate safely in rotation............if crew(s) must be stood down due to Covid then there are obvious implications for those who are afloat for reasons other than pleasure sailing.
