The entertainment industry has been suffering dreadfully since March. This sort of thing will help jobbing musicians to get back to earning their living.
My brother was a freelance sound engineer, and through him I have many friends who are involved in the events industry, including some of the main instigators of the "We Make Events" campaign. It is not just the musicians who are suffering, as there is a whole network of stage, lighting and sound engineers and equipment hire companies, plus the whole community of roadies who live on the gig economy that can't earn whilst the covid restrictions are in place. I know of one respected van hire company that used to specialise in splitter vans for small band tours that has already gone under, and many equipment hire companies that are warning of their demise. If this network fails, it will be a long time before the entertainment industry gets back on its feet.

For once in my life it turns out i made a good business decision (a rarity amongst a plethora of bad ones!) ... some years ago it was well nigh a coin toss to decide whether to expand the modest part time stage PA and lighting outfit we'd been running for years or whether to wind it up after our biggest annual event was cancelled

Expanding meant borrowing and going full time which would have got in the way of sailing and having fun so we decided to sell the kit off and get out of the business

Boy am i glad about that now!
