Left home at 0300 hrs, on boat before 0700 hr , fitted new injectors, noticed something in engine water intake filter , popped it out, asked swmbo to rinse out under tap , heard a shout ,she had only dropped it of the jetty into the water, not impressed . Did manage to fire up each engine, but will not be going anywhere this weekend,

Dropped petrol cap into river yesterday, managed to hook it by using fishing rod with spinner wound into the top hoop of the rod as far as it will go; lower whole rod into water and grapple.

Yep had a go with fishing rod,only trouble water was on the ebb ,marina has also recently been dredged, did suggest to swmbo to dive in after it, can,t type what her reply was

Both engines running great, used to get a little smoke when first started now nothing,looking forward to giving them a sea trial,have to say these old lumps have always performed well ,will have to catch up soon, trust all is well, have you been out and about much .

Great shame about the raw water filter bit as you could have popped over for a coffee during your sea trial. [Blonde moment must've temporarily kicked in kicked in ]
Well at last you know all is now ok so the sailing season can now begin for Too Calm until the next boat fix comes along :encouragement:

Hi Merlyn , been over to Yarmouth / newtown couple of times and did swanwick / cowes last weekend . Hope to be over to east cowes soon , have got credit for two nights berthing there .
