Ever wondered how to transport your bike from your boat at anchor in the dinghy?

Why not do it like this:-

Then you can deflate it and take it with you on your cycle trip - so no dinghy or outboard to get stolen.

That looks cool

How is he pumping the floats up? Wire or hydraulic drive to a compressor?

And how is he moving through the water - is there a propeller in there?

Cheers for posting

Wow, without wishing to be a misery, it seems an invention that would have few takers. The pack looks far to weighty, it would seem a phaff to set up, and take apart, and unsafe except on the most flat of waters. Still I am sure there is a small market and wish the invetors a lot of luck. For that reason .. .. .. I move the bikes around in the tender when needs must which was why I was intrigued to read the thread. Given you have a tender it still isnt the perfect solution but it works.

Pedaling round the town with that load on one's back all day would not be fun!!!. Not to mention getting on & off the bike on to the boat. Oh! & folding & unfolding the bike somewhere prior to use or after use, Where does the crew fit if the fold up bike does not have a cross bar?.........Naah!!!Somehow I do not think that I will bother

It looks like a big speedo-cable (similar to the flexible drive for my Dremel) driving first a pump and then a propeller, from a roller on the back wheel.

I could see pootling around on a river on this as an activity in its own right - same sort of way people use stand-up paddleboards. Though I note all the under-way sequences were sped up in the video, so I suspect it's unreasonably slow in reality.

It's obviously a non-starter as a means of transport from a yacht.
