Hi,
It is possible my understanding is limited ( a polite way of suggesting that I'm being on the thick side) but - by and large will the depth of water at half tide always be the same, regardless of whether it is springs or neaps?
It seems logical that if the range is greater, then the mid point must be the same. The reason for the question is that I have a half tidal mooring and I can only just get the boat off at neaps - a local marina is offering access 3 hrs either side of high water on a mud berth. Are they telling fibs of should I move my boat there toute suite?
I'd check this out by doing the sums but my almanac is on the boat ......
Regards
Fred
