Grubby Sole

My Saloon floor (faced ply) is dirty and stained.

I've tried teak oil without any success.

Has anybody any ideas.

Hi,

We have lots of cork type non slip material on our boat and we clean it up every winter with a pressure washer.

We also pressure wash our teak rubbing strakes and coachroof handles before teak oiling them.

I had same problem, I sanded it with an electric sander, painted it with teak woodstain (not the gloss varnish type but the type you apply with a cloth pad) until it looked right. Then I varnished it with a lot of coats of good quality yacht varnish. It loooks like new now.
