Identifying manufacturer of my project boat

Hi all, I'm a newbie to the forum and would like to ask for help in identifying the manufacturer of my project boat I have just bought. Previous couldn't offer any help either other than it's a NAB Dory 17ft. Does anyone know what NAB stands for as this could help. I've tried google etc., buth without any success. Would be so grateful if any can help.

Nab is the abreviation for The Nab Tower which is Navigation mark off the East end of The Isle of Wight. A popular fishing mark also hence the naming of your boat . (If it is one)

Thank you stelican, how interesting! I've managed to get hold of a guy called Malcolm Winsor who actually builds NAB working boats so will be having a conversation with him this afternoon.
