The internet - a fantastic asset giving access to unrivalled information...

Just a lot less reliable than an Austin Maestro.

Would we be better without it?

Now that I've given my eight volume ex 0xfam Harmsworth encyclopaedia back to Oxfam (42 years after acquiring it), I'd be really stuck without it. Ever since I lost a 10 shilling bet on the difference between a dromedary and a camel (to a lad that wasn't letting on he'd just looked it up) I've wanted to be able to check facts before betting on them and sources before quoting them.

Most likely 'is dongle's in the Drambuie.....!

Anyway, my patent Nauticalia 'Druid storm and tempest' magic seaweed works just fine i.r.o. reading the weather runes. What is it you'd like to know, Oen, my old mukker?

Well, FYI, it'll be on the nose.... sometimes light and variable....and with dense fog patches all day. That's summer-holiday sailing, I'm afraid!

"I have a cunning plan.....!"

I detect a bias against Maestros - just out of interest my son and I currenlty race one in a club series in the UK and it cost b****er all and is the best fun I've had for ages behind the wheel of a car - reliable to.

Oops sorry off topic but someone has to like them!!
