Fresh water quality on board

Hi,

In Ipswich Haven, we have always suffered from a lot of chlorine in the water. We have an inexpensive solution of an in line water filter used when we fill up from the hose. We got ours from Screwfix.

It's just a carbon filter and housing. You can get 3 filters about a tenner and a housing for the same price.

Best to go for carbon block filters, not the ones filled with carbon dust/powder.

Agreed. I was sharing because it took me three years of living aboard to work this out, I was hopefully helping others to come to this conclusion earlier.
