Thanks for that. In the meantime, I had a brainwave and reduced it all by myself and uploaded it all by myself. Better get on and do some real work now!
Doug, if you make it, I have a bottle of Red in Bradwell to help you over the trauma.
I can vouch for this man, he is a vat of nautical knowledge, not related to sailing. All round good egg though, but drives a German car.
Not proven if he functions at 20 degrees of heel.
A good raconteur, but I am unsure of his cooking abilities.
If you highlight the 'IMG' box , then copy paste it you get the pic without a link , knew you'd get it though /forums/images/graemlins/wink.gif nice boat /forums/images/graemlins/cool.gif

If everyone is still going, then we will too... but it does look like the weather is going to be terrible.... very heavy rain most of the weekend, and pretty squally....
So far the weather forecast does not look very encouraging for a trip South. I might just stay in the rivers and catch up with you guys some other time. But I shall make a decision later on as forecasts are notoriously inaccurate. Thanks for all the helpful advice and encouragement. Hope to see you all soon.
Are you looking at that website that says the weather is bad cos you dont want to go /forums/images/graemlins/confused.gif /forums/images/graemlins/grin.gif

Dont tell me the one weekend when i can cross to the other side i cant find a vessel?
You're more than welcome B , as for the weekend , we're playing by ear at the moment because as Doug says , the forecasts are notoriously innacurate . The trip from Ostend back to Ramsgate a few weeks ago was looking really bad but apart from getting soaked it wasn't too bad . Individual decisions obviously respected though
B working in Holland this week and next.
Think sailing this WE will be restricted to daysail on Sunday.
Dropped off Y at school for trip to Bolougne at 06H00, only getting back 21H30-ish.
The little lad can sleep in on Saturday (big softie me).
wingGURU looks much better than anything I've looked at so far. Current plan is to give it a go and see how things shape up. We can always change our minds and turn around. Should we make it, where will we find you when we arrive?
Depends on Bradwell Air Traffic Control. They will pick a spot based on your beam/length/draught. In general, they send us to the far end, cos we have a fat behind. Failing that, I'll bet we will be found milling around near the bar/clubhouse.
Do you eat curry?
BTW, ask Guapa for a forecast, he's good. Bet he say 2-4 Variable. Worked for me last time when everyone else was calling mountainous seas. We did see a couple of small twisters, but they looked like 2-4 variable /forums/images/graemlins/laugh.gif
Just seen Clives Post
