Happy new year to all. Does anyone have any top tips re which is the best type of antifoul for a boat moored on the Orwell? My thoughts are turning towards those pesky spring tasks....

Many thanks

Based on the Tyne we used Jotun 'None Stop' for years on top of Jotun Silver grey primer, after two year 'IN' when we lift out usually just slim and maybe a cupful of whelks maximum

I used to use the Jotun Seaforce 30 which was excellent but it was then sold only for commercial application. I switched to Jotun Cu Pro.
This has been good on the Orwell and has lasted 2 years with a late summer scrub. Drawback is you have to buy 5 litres which is £125 plus postage.
I share with a friend and save the postage.

I have used Seajet Shogun for many years, usually reasonably effective, but some years are worse than others for fouling. When we had the Halmatic I always tried to scrub from the pontoon regularly which helped I guess. With a motor boat you can only reach the top few inches with a brush, but every little helps?
