Thursday night the Yank Heli-pilots used to fire up the BBQ for the Cabinda Camp ..... biggest bloody steaks I ever saw in my life !!!!

Outdoor Walport Movies ..... borrowed from a shiploading out on the bouys ....

'Freelance' SBS boys going out at night to check for sabotoeurs at the rigs etc.

........ every where signs saying 'Keep to marked paths' 'MINES'

shlumberger boys celebrating a hi priced rig job, best of everything, champagne, proper stuff, one of saw a movie where they used a cutlass to slice down the side of the horizontal bottle to hit the ridge on the neck, off would go the top bit clean as a whistle and then point it at the glass, found out a chefs knife would do the same, literally cases of the stuff opened one after the other, they didnt give a shit.
one time riding the allouette 3 chopper back late afternoon to the shore, wave hopping and then doing a "hammerhead" up the 100 ft cliffs, ze pilote expliquing " when we were in ze desert in algerie we would follow the wadis below the rim, ze arabs zey would be looking up and we were below zem, ze ammerhead manouvre and dak dak dak and zey were all morte"
