Arrived just in time for last orders in the curry place. Its tricky getting here in the dark. Ended up through a minor channel of moored yachts at one point. And the green traffic lights at the lock are as bright as searchlights meaning you can't see a thing. Oh well. Made it......

You didn't hit any moored yachts, run aground on the mud, nor hit the lock walls or gate ...

... that sounds like success to me :)

It's tricky in the dark, if you aren't familiar with the approach. The tide was on your side, today.

There used to be a steel pile just before where the outer waiting pontoon now starts. Coming back on one very dark night, and being dazzled by the green lights, I didn't see this pile, and how we missed it I'll never know. Can only have been by millimetres. Bloody scarey!

There used to be another Targa moored behind us, and the same had happened to him just beforehand. Both of us were stood on the pontoon shaking like you wouldn't believe.
