1. ENGLAND - East Coast - Depths. - Five new reduced depths in the Caister Road between the NW and Mid Scroby SHBs. The depths are unlikely to hinder leisure craft. The image includes changes reported in 4 previous permanent Notices and one preliminary Notice this year.
2. ENGLAND - East Coast - Depths. - This notice confirms Preliminary Notice 4414(P)/24 which reported reduced depths at the Sunk Head and around the Gunfleet Spit SCB. The notice confirms 7 of the reported depths and amends two at the Sunk Head. That suggests cutting across the Sunk Head when you are confident of the height of tide. The image includes three revised depths on the Little Sunk which was reported vide NtM 1026 earlier this year.
3. ENGLAND - East Coast - Depth. - A revised depth at the south entrance of the Great Yarmouth outer harbour. Ample water for a leisure craft and not where we ought to be. The image includes revised depths from NtM 2873 earlier this year.
4. ENGLAND - East Coast - Works. - This notice duplicates the local PLA Notice No L74 reporting long term works at the Oikos Jetty in the Sea Reach of the River Thames. The area of works are on commercial jetties but are adjacent to the entrance at Holehaven Creek and would need care to be avoided.

1. River Medway – Saltpan Reach - Grain LNG Jetty 10 – Diving Operations - diving operations are due to take place at Grain LNG jetty 10, work to inspect and clean the fire pump intakes will take place on Tuesday 3rd of December 2024 between 07:00 and 09:00. Sealift Diving Contractors will be conducting dive operations from the support craft “Splitmoor”, “Avocet” and “Retriever” who will be monitoring VHF Channel 74 at all times. All vessels are required to pass LNG Jetty 10 with caution, reduce their speed and wash accordingly and maintain a listening watch on VHF Ch.74 at all times. 2. Sheerness Harbour – North Kent Light Buoy - Out of Charted Position - the North Kent Light Buoy, QG, has been reported out of it’s charted position, investigations have shown that the aid to navigation is approximately 30 – 40 meters to the ESE of it’s charted location. A cancellation to this notice will be promulgated as soon as the buoy is returned to it’s correct charted position. All vessels transiting Sheerness Harbour should be aware of the discrepancy and navigate accordingly. Admiralty Chart Nos. 3683 and 1834 refer. 3. Outer Crouch No 1 Lighted Buoy – River Crouch - NAVIGATION - the Outer Crouch No 1 Lighted Buoy in approximate position: 51°38.703 N, 000°59.000 E is now lit.
4. PORT OF GREAT YARMOUTH - Water Injection Dredging River Berth 1 - Western Marinas will be carrying out water injection dredging on behalf of Tilbury Douglas, in the vicinity of the Spending Beach and Berth 1, using the water injection dredger CMS Innovation 2nd – 6th December 2024. The vessel will be displaying Restricted in Ability to Manoeuvre shapes and lights. All vessels are requested to keep clear when transiting the river. The CMS Innovation will give way to vessels within the river if required. Mariners are reminded to maintain a listening watch on VHF Channel 12 whilst operating within the Port of Great Yarmouth and to advise ‘Yarmouth Radio’ of their intention to conduct any manoeuvre within the Port prior to doing so. 5. 2024/2025 Ipswich Tidal Barrier Tests. - the dates and times are listed as to when the Environment Agency will be conducting routine tests and maintenance to the Ipswich Tidal Barrier. During this period the river will be closed off between the Tidal Barrier and Stoke Bridge. Upon completion of the barrier closure, the barrier will be re-opened gradually. Vessels approaching Ipswich Lock may experience additional currents as they make their approach. Caution needs to be taken by small vessels navigating in the vicinity of the lock/barrier at the time of opening. Vessel bound to the area upstream of the Tidal Barrier should always observe the Red/Green traffic lights. For more information contact Orwell Navigation Services on VHF Ch 68.
6. East Coast – The Wash Ports – River Nene - Admiralty Chart 1200, Imray Y9 - BUOY “BOB” BACK ON STATION - the following buoy “BOB” within the Nene port area of Authority is back on Station. BOB Red Can L FL R 5s N52,51.082 E000,14.749
7. Sizewell C - Aid to Navigation Casualty Repair - on or around Wednesday 4th December 2024, maintenance and repair will be conducted on the Aid to Navigations (AtoNs) which mark the Sizewell B Intake and Outtake and Tunnels (weather permitting). These beacons are positioned at:
Inshore 052 o 12.912 N 001 o 37.600 E
Offshore 052 o 12.910 N 001 o 38.020 E
Personnel will be transported to the site during daylight hours on the Coastal Voyager, a red 9m RIB. The works are anticipated to be completed in one day, weather permitting. All vessels should maintain an appropriate and safe distance (minimum 250m) when passing Coastal Voyager whilst it is undertaking operations, passing at the lowest speed to avoid vessel wash effects. The vessel will maintain a continuous listening watch on VHF Channel 16. The chart shows the area where operations will be undertaken.
