Re: SV Oddity, Interiors & Materials

It there is ONE thing you should have learned about me by now is that I don't Fizzle, I always go out with a BANG. NO going silently into that quiet night for me.
I was referring to your electric hybrid drive

A question that has just occurred to me, what are you going to do about heating?

I'm involved in a running technical discussion with a friend of mine precisely about that same subject. No decision on anything as of yet nor leaning in any particular way concerning the heating. As we want high lat we're exploring solutions in use in Norway and Iceland. There's no right or wrong answer to that one it seems. All of them come with advantages and disadvantages. I just want to be able to fix it on the spot should I have the need. He's the specialist I'll take his advice.

yeah... well, life is all about choices. Yessssir I did want something else but... Finance director at home said no.. and that was that...:p But don't you go thinking I did not stand my ground on it. I looked at my wife long and hard before I let her know my displeasure with an "ok Hun"

How is she getting on with those crazy hatch lenses?

The ones you said you were going to sand out the crazing

That one will be done in April, when we're planning to have them out and installing a new one on the stern. She's looking forward to doing it. But I'm going to install a larger hatch on the back as the one in there is too small to be used as an escape hatch. Access to the stern cabin is by a narrow corridor.

might be cheaper and simpler to lose a bit of waistline ?

I bet if the boat was on fire you would get through the hatch!

If that boat was on fire, I would come out through that hatch so fast people would confuse me for a rocket being launched. It's still nicer and easier to move stuff in and out or use it as an escape hatch if the hatch is larger.
