On the bright side I have never before found myself agreeing completely with every word posted by Wiggo ( /forums/images/graemlins/smile.gif)

For which we must all be grateful... Even I rarely agree with everything I post.

Sorry, wish i could agree but I cannot.

A boat can be sea kindly - comfortable at sea, handle well but have greater or lesser stabilit or seaworthiness. I even think that Wiggo would agree with that ... in any event it was barry who first made this point -:)

I could have sworn it was Barry who first made that point but I have to admit defeat - based on the evidence inf front of me only presented by one side from the Wiggo camp, I have to state that Wiggo said it first ..... that is unless Barry wishes to present his case and by so doing gang up on Wiggo with me!

I took it for a test ride. All was well upto around the 90 mark. After that it wobbled like a very wobbly thing upto about 130. My anal stability went after that with no amout of stabilization making any difference.
So no I let that one pass. I put it down to the fact that it had a displaced hull! I think it had been dropped at some stage in its life. Cosmetically it look nice and clean. The previous owner was in his 20's, bit of a tear arse.

Done the right thing, they should'nt wobble, in fact they can be a bit lazy if you know what I mean. Trouble is so many twats let people fiddle with them (the bike that is) that they end up with all kinds of weird setups.
Anyway sorry to interupt the thread!

Well your no good for ganging up are you!!! Taking your ball home leaves me stranded facing Wiggo and that may force me into his gang ... so watch out!

You can't be in my gang cos your boat's too slow. And it probably smells. Anyway, I thort you were going to give me a bell... (Good job you didn't in the end as I was up to me ears in leeway and tidal streams and YottMaster stuff. Can't have SWMBO being better qualified, can I???)

uh huh, 749s. Rode a friends for a week and thought "ooh yeah I want one". Bit of a minefield buying s/h tho. Rode a Buell S1 lightning yesterday too. Massive fun but ratty ones still go for 5K. So its a Duke if I can find a good one. Dealers take the pee pricewise. I'll keep the 'onda tho, its only 50 quid a year to insure on the classic policy.b
