SIBS - when you buy something at the beginning of the day and have top carry it around until kicking out time.

2. Insurance companies who insist your mooring gear is inspected "professionally" on a regular basis, but won't define 'regular'.

3. The wind which dies away when I set off for a sail and picks up as I return.

I weakened on my last baot and fitted a pair after 6 years. Nice for shelter sitting in the cockpit but they can spoil the view. I don't have any on my latest boat and probably never will.
