Depending on the weather at the weekend, we thought we would venture out on own own for the first time.

We will be down at Hythe Marina Saturday late afternoon so will probably go out on Sunday.

Anybody out and about let us know.

No not yet. He's a bit upset because it's all black on the bottom after our trip. Nick's been down there all day cleaning the boat and is not coming back until later this evening.

Hasn't got the outboard down there yet, taking it down at weekend.

The Weather forecast for the weekend is very light south-easterly winds.
It should be a good day for you to explore the solent.
Best of luck

Do you mind they have no bugs as they are Soltron users :)

Re: Total proof Soltron doesn\'t work

Because it was purging the system of the sludge and residue left from the boat being in the river and not being used for 5 years, tis clean now I hear.

Dom,

I've bought my first bottle of Soltron, it says on the tin that it should be added before refuelling. That's fine but I've got two tankfuls in the boat from last autumn - can I add the Soltron on top and go for a F6 wind over tide to mix it in? Or should I wait till the tanks are refilled before the first dose?

Go for it now. They put that on the label as it mixes quicker that way but within a few hours the enzyme should have found its way to all the corners of your tanks.

Just put it in. Then it can start working. Would think it will be well mixed in by the time you've crashed about a bit.

<font color=blue> Errmmm! Could it be injectors need resetting? C'mon JFM gives us a clue.
