A little advice please - I want to paint the bottom of the boat this year with something that might last more than 1 year (Possibly 2 or even 3?).
The boat is med based and used most of the year.During the warmer months I usually dive under to remove any growth but once back in the marina it isn't long before its starts to grow back.
It would be nice to think that a make exists that may last 2 or 3 years with a little help and does't cost a small fortune for a small tin.
Also is it possible to buy antifouling in larger tins than 2.5ltr?

Thanks for any info.

As I have the chance to sail in the Non EU waters, I'm using on my steel hull a "tin" antifouling.. The last one last for about five years in warm waters..

the epoxy/copper types (copperbot, coppercoat etc.) work moderately well. they cost about double the price of conventional coating. two cautions: they can't cope with heavy fouling areas (we had to scrape off 20mm of growth after 6 weeks in the lagoon at st maarten) and must be applied with great care, preferably by a professional who offers a guarantee.
