Upon receiving an offer for a boat I understand the infantry logged on the sale details are included. However I have been told that any fuel on board at the time of the offer is also included, no more no less. As the potential buyer isn’t aware of the quantity and I am talking in excess of 900...
My 2004 Mariner has beaten me, I think I’ve tried everything.
It starts on first or second pull and runs smoothly although it momentarily misfires with a cloud of smoke.
Then when you open the throttle either in gear or manually at the carb the engine dies unless you press the blue choke button...
When the boat was ashore I used a dial indicator near the P bracket up near the entry through the hull and in between. It is a 2” shaft and the readings were minimal if I remember no more than 10 thou.

+1 Used John for many years. Very trusting man, I collect my anodes from his works, ask him how much and he just gives me his bank details to pay later.
Yes the southern broads are your only option unless you want to convert your fly bridge to a coupe model:) We go from Chatham roughly every two years to visit our friends boat at Brundall usually overnighting at Woolverstone cos its free for me, but Shotley would be more practical. We enter the...
Tee hee don’t shoot the messenger, that’s what I was told by the surveyor when I purchased my boat. He asked how long it was out of the water as his moisture meter would give different readings.
