Considered a Mitchell 31? A very capable sea boat, not wishing to be rude but makes a Landau 20 look like a dinghy.. and I do know of one that has a motivated seller and would certainly be in your budget, plus it’s got a commercial spec Perkins Sabre 215 engine in excellent condition… see link...
Very interesting, I would agree with Ben that it’s based on a MK3 especially wheelhouse side screen and three window windscreen but coachroof forward is a bit unique. There is a pretty active Mitchell 31 Facebook group worth joining, there would be a lot of interest in your boat.

Mitchell 31 MkIII…well that’s perfection. The finest British hand built 31ft’er in existence, find one and you are a lucky man. Alternatively find someone who has one, maybe tamper with their car..
I agree…. It’s a great place to explore the Solent and south coast from….and indeed we are also at Mercury. It is free from most charter boats and the racing yachts…. Generally pretty full though, although so are most south coast marinas so you might not get much choice.

Indeed I do have a Mitchell, but I would not really like to guess the thickness of the gel coat. I have never measured it. Also as such bespoke boats many being built by different yards I’m not sure many two would be identical. There was a chap called Roy asking similar on the Mitchell Facebook...
